Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Insolaire, a joint venture of Dubai Investments and Swissinso SA, has completed the installation of Photo-Voltaic (PV) solar panels at the Expo 2020 Monaco pavilion.

The colored PV panels will lead to 85% of energy savings to fulfill the pavilion's entire energy demand and decrease the carbon emissions by 41 tonnes per year, according to a press release on Monday.

With Emirates Insolaire’s patented Kromatix Technology, each panel offers a power of 260Wp, which directly enters into the electrical main distribution via grid-connected inverters to supply the pavilion.

The Kromatix panels register an energy yield of around 28,050 kWh annually, while the standard solar panels produce 39,700kWh annually

The Managing Partner of Emirates Insolaire, Rafic Hanbali, said: "Integrating our patented technology into the polygon-shaped structure, designed to be powered using the photovoltaic panels as per the agreement with the Monaco board’s commitment, complements our vision to raise awareness on sustainability."

Meanwhile, the Commissioner-General of Monaco Pavilion, Albert Croesi, commented: "Beyond their aestheticism, the function of these panels is now to produce, between the beginning of 2021 and mid-2022, the electricity consumption useful for the life of our pavilion."
